Malahide Castle and North Coast

Malahide Castle

The castle was the home of the Talbot family for almost 800 years up until 1976 when in order to fund inheritance taxes the last remaining member of the family sold the castle to the Irish State. The castle has collected many historical paintings and notable pieces of furniture.
