The pubs here all have a lovely feel. They usually have a traditional Irish folk band playing and you can always find a cute old man singing along. My favorite pub I’ve been to was called Devitt’s or poc an tara, they had a great little band, wooden stools, the whole shebang, it was straight from a movie. Very cute! We also went to the Brazen Head. It’s the oldest pub in Ireland, dating back from the early 1100’s. It’s over 800 years old. It was very cool. It’s crazy to think, we think the United States is old, but then you compare that to a place that’s been a bar for over 800 years and it kind of puts it into perspective. Wow! It was cool. There we had very authentic Irish food. I had chicken stuffed with stuffing and sausage and mash potatoes and my friend had a traditional meal called bangers and mash- sausages and mash potatoes. It was delicious!
